Ice Age Trail Guide

The Ice Age National Scenic Trail (IAT) zig-zags it's way across, up, and down Wisconsin along 1,100+ miles of yellow-blazed trails and connecting roads. The IAT passes through trail towns, farmlands, forests, prairies, wetlands, and even crosses Lake Wisconsin. Given the glacial geology and varied settings along the IAT, each outing offers the promise of new set of sights and sounds to inspire and delight.

Your guide to the Ice Age National Scenic Trail from west to east follows by county - just click the links. This page will be updated for new counties over time. From views of delightful overlooks and delicate spring flowers, to the cacophony of fall migrations...from the quiet solitude of a cold winter's day, to the summer squeals of children playing in town parks, new sights and sounds await. Let's get outdoors, and follow the yellow blazes!
